Responsibilities as General Physician
 patient consultations at clinic, home and within the surgery
 performing clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose, treatment of illness and
monitor patient’s condition – with use of specialist equipment.
 minor surgery
 practice management and administration
 using basic life support skills and emergency procedures such as defibrillation where necessary
 General and emergency management
 Diagnose and Management of Musculoskeletal and Rheumatic Conditions
such as Arthritis, Back Pain and Osteoporosis
 Minor surgical procedure (abscess, lipoma, cyst)
 Wound management
 Neonatal care
 Nasal intubation
 Anti-cancer drug administration
 Urinary catheter and IV canola insertion
 Management of acute poisoning
 Assisting in major operation
